An early 19th century Chinese pith painting of an Atlas moth in a lovely maple frame of the period. The quality of the painting is exquisite and you can almost touch the hairs on the wings and smell the blossom. A real country house piece or for natural history lovers. In excellent antique condition. Some minor wear to the pith paper.
