A fine quality Victorian walnut jewellery box, the top and front profusely inlaid with parquetry, the canted corners inlaid with tulipwood. The top has a central mother of pearl cartouche, the front with matching mother pf pearl keyhole escutcheon.
The box has been re-lined in a plush red velvet.
With working lock & key.
