Each figurine bears the original Chelsea gold anchor hallmark on the back.

The Chelsea Porcelain Factory was established in London, England, in 1743. As one of the first porcelain factories in England, it quickly gained a reputation for producing high-quality, finely detailed porcelain. Chelsea porcelain was highly prized by the wealthy and was often given as gifts to members of the royal family. In 1784, the factory closed due to financial difficulties and competition from other porcelain manufacturers.

Dimensions:
Piper: height 22.5 cm, width 9.5 cm, depth 10 cm, weight 534 grams.Condition: The fingers appear to have been restored, though we cannot confirm this. The gold anchor mark is nearly worn off. There is a small scorched spot on the base, likely a firing defect. Otherwise, in excellent antique condition.

Girl: height 21 cm, width 10 cm, depth 8 cm, weight 534 grams.Condition: Restoration of the right hand, otherwise in excellent antique condition.
