Description:?This is a good quality antique English open oak Arts & Crafts bookcase / bookshelf, circa 1930, measuring 2ft 18¼” wide, with a mellow colour, in good original condition. Decorated with a central moulded raised pediment, united by two shaped arms, the oak bookshelf comprises five fixed shelves on a rectangular block frame. The side of the oak bookcase shelves are designed with decorative mortise and tenon pegs and the frame stands on a decorative shaped plinth. This Arts & Crafts bookcase displays a mellow colour, having been cleaned and wax polished by hand to a professional standard in our workshop.
