Description

A very light blanket made to cover unsightly items, more commonly made out of wool but this rare item is composed entirely from silk. Designed with simple, colourful stripes it is a surprisingly modern looking antique and a rare survivor. Silk tends to break and wear easily so is not an ideal weaving material but this one is in excellent condition- barring one small tear, see detail photo.

6'3" x 6'4" so big enough to decorate a double bed.
