Description

A nice early example in good pile but with fairly extensive 'Granny' style repairs visible on the back but well blended on the front. Finely woven, with sparkling natural dyes this old tribal prayer rug from the 1860-70's is offered at a very reasonable rate because of the condition but is still a Great Wall piece for display. There is so much going on the trellis field, with dogs, hookah pipes and other animals visible. Around the arch is an illegible date.

Lovely small size of 2'8" x 4'6"
