This very pretty Edwardian sterling silver purse was made by the made by the prolific S. Blanckensee & Sons and is dated Birmingham 1906. Of rounded rectangular form, both sides engraved with foliate scrolls. The front with a vacant cartouche. The push button opening to reveal the original blue moire silk compartmentalised interior.
