Large Early French Antique Solid Silver Gilt Chalcedony Paste Brooch 9 cm / 3.5"

This is an exquisite antique brooch/pin from mid 19th century.

The solid silver gilt chalcedony paste design is adorned with a beautiful large old European cut paste stones in clear and green.

This is a large statement piece and measures 9 cm/3.5 inches and is perfect for any early antique costume jewellery collection.

The brooch/pin is ideal for those who appreciate fine jewellery and is a must-have for vintage and antique jewellery enthusiasts.

The metal is yellow metal and the era is circa 1850. This is a timeless piece that will never go out of style. The colours on this brooch are so vibrant and held by a delicate gold on silver setting, with the cloudy white stone background to let the paste stones really stand out.
