An attractive, heavy, sturdy antique chair. We date this chair to the early 20th century.
The chair has a solid oak lower rail and feet with a central foliate and scroll decoration.
The chair is upholstered in a vinyl material with stud detail. The loose cushions are down filled and upholstered in a brown velour.
The chair has an overall height of 77cm, an overall width of 88cm and an overall depth of 89cm. With the cushions in place it has a backrest height of 43cm, a seat height of 49cm, a seat width of 48cm and a seat depth of 55cm.
The chair is in good condition with only very minor surface marks commensurate with age and usage. The material is in good order but there is a small stain on the underside of the front of the cushion. Please note we have not attempted to clean it.
This remains a very stylish and elegant chair. It is very comfortable to sit on and will continue to provide rest and relaxation for many years to come.
