This is a very pretty little silver and faux tortoiseshell pill box, or ring box, made by the excellent silversmiths, Levi and Salaman, Birmingham, 1906. Of circular form, it has fine, pique inlaid decoration to the lid, above a cushion base. The interior is well gilded. The hallmark is legible, with a little rubbing. With only very minor signs of use, this piece is in excellent antique condition, with no damage, losses or repairs.
