Iconic Hermes Sterling (950) Silver Buckle Napkin Rings C.1960

Description

A rare and truly iconic pair of silver and silver gilt napkin rings by the famous French fashion house, Hermes of Paris. Made exclusively by the French silversmith, Ravinet d'Enfert.

Both fully marked with the Minerve casquée mark for 950/100 fineness of silver together with the makers mark for Ravinet d'Enfert and Hermes, Paris / Made In France.

A wonderful belt and buckle design. Both in excellent vintage condition with minor surface wear commensurate with age and use; the gold plating over the silver being all original. A combined weight of 73 Grams / 2.35 Troy Ounces and each measuring 1 7/8" x 1 1/8".
