A fine quality pretty Victorian silver bookmark in the form of a garden trowel with finely pointed blade, separately formed angled handle with engraved decoration to the flared cuff and around the join and inset with a polished mother of pearl finial.
Hallmarked for Birmingham 1898, makers Adie & Lovekin Ltd. and a further lion passant to the handle.
It measures 7.1cm (2 3/4'') long.
