Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Impressionist landscape paintings focus on capturing the immediate visual effect of a atmosphere, light, and colour. Artists utilise visible, loose brushstrokes and impasto techniques rather than smooth, highly detailed brushwork.

Artists traditionally applied oil-based pigments mixed with linseed oil onto stretched linen or cotton canvas, as well as wooden panels. Prepared gesso primers were applied prior to painting to prevent oil absorption into the substrate.

Authenticity is evaluated through physical signatures, natural age-related craquelure across the paint layer, timber oxidation on stretcher frames, and characteristic brushwork techniques consistent with the era.

An antique oil painting can be mounted above a sideboard or console table to serve as a visual focal point, contrasting against neutral walls or blending into deeper palette schemes.

Paintings should be kept away from direct sunlight, extreme humidity, and direct heat sources. Dusting should be performed gently with a soft brush, and structural cleaning should be handled by a professional conservator.
