Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: The Purply Shop

This is a very elegant Victorian silver caddy spoon with neo-classical borders and a rare engraving of a squirrel sitting on a brand filled with flowers and foliage. Its quality is revealed by a heavier weight than many of the earlier Georgian examples. It was made by John Aldwinckle and Thomas Slater in 1888. The firm traces back to 1838 and the silversmith Henry Holland.
