This Antique oak dresser base was made circa 1825.

It has 3 drawers along the top and a full cupboard in the base, that is accessed by the 2 cupboard doors, that are each side of the dummy drawer fronts to the centre. The cabinetmaker, designed the dresser this way so that there weren’t large unwieldy doors, as well as making it aesthetically pleasing to look at, that I’m certain you will agree it does.
The frieze has an attractive shaped apron between the feet.
