Rare and stunning art deco lamp. The fluted stem is made from catalin (the follow on from bakelite, catalin was made in much brighter colours) with a wonderful butterscotch / amber colour flecked stem with lighter specks of orange. The base is a stylish stepped copper with a push switch which still functions. The gallery is in the same wonderful copper colour. In very good condition, there is some tarnishing to the base. The glass shade is a fabulous pink starburst design and in similarly excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Fully working as shown and recently PAT tested, this is a magnificent art deco lamp. Height - 35 cms.
