A late C18th pair of chairs, of the Chippendale country vernacular. These chairs constructed in beautifully figured solid elm feature a pierced splat back. Drop in upholstered seats, recently recovered in hand-dyed leather hide. Raised on square chamfered legs, supported by H-stretchers.

These chairs measures approximately 95 cm (37.5'') tall, 50.75 cm (20'') wide, and 46 cm (18.125'') deep. The seat height is approximately 46.5 cm (18.25).
