Description

An impressive late 19th century French empire table of circular form with the removable marble top sitting over a thick tapering pedestal column atop a trefoil base with typical gilt embellishment and raised on original brass castors.

Very good condition, structurally all in good order with just some light age related surface wear. The platform supporting the later marble top has been reworked to provide strength and does have a slight aged warp but this is minor and does not affect the stability of the table when the marble is placed on top.
