beautiful Art Deco patinated bronze figure of a very striking female nude with arms outstretched standing atop a base decorated with three swords or lances – Danceuse aux Lances or Sword Dancer. This finely detailed, hand finished figure is signed in the bronze and dated 1919. It stands on top of the original veined tri-colour marble base. 550mm high, 210mm wide and 120mm deep. French. Dated 1919.
Fernand Ouillon- Carrčre created many small figural statuettes and figurines in the Art Deco era around 1910-1939 that were highly characteristic of the period.
