Description

Royal Worcester porcelain pot pourri and cover, signed by Arthur Lewis, dated 1910. Finely hand painted with a scene of a young girl walking before a thatched cottage, in a continuous rural setting.

Having gilt scroll handles, and set upon four gilt branch feet.

The moulded and pierced cover, having a branch and bud finial, and heightened in gilt.

Signed A. Lewis.

Green printed factory marks, date code for 1910, and model number H241 to the underside.

Height – 19.5 cm, 7 3/4”.

Width – 15.5 cm, 6 1/8”.

Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
