Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

An Edwardian diamond daisy cluster ring is a design from the early twentieth century featuring a central diamond encircled by a halo of accent diamonds arranged to resemble flower petals. This style gained prominence between 1901 and 1910, reflecting the light, garland-inspired motifs popular in fine jewellery of the era.

Jewellers during the Edwardian period predominantly worked with platinum and yellow gold, often layering platinum over gold settings to provide structural integrity while maintaining a light metal aesthetic. Diamonds from this period were typically old European or old mine cut stones set in bezel or fine claws.

Authentic Edwardian rings can be identified by hand-cut diamonds with small open culets and higher crowns, millegrain edging, and fine hand-engraved details along the band or shoulders. Markers of platinum craftsmanship and historical UK hallmarks also help verify age and provenance.

An antique cluster ring can function as a standalone engagement ring or be worn on the right hand as a statement dress ring. Its neutral tone allows it to pair seamlessly with modern platinum or white gold bands.

Clean the piece gently using warm water, mild liquid soap, and a soft-bristled toothbrush to remove built-up debris. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners or harsh chemical solutions, and schedule periodic checks with a professional jeweller to ensure setting security.
