A large and well executed painting with lots of detail. Carved giltwood frame. Sourced directly from descendants of the sitter it is the first time this painting has been marketed.
The painting is in very good condition. It has been lightly cleaned and is free from any major damages. There have been two small old repairs to the reverse of the canvas. The frame has been lightly cleaned and is in good order with a few small knocks and minor losses.
