Lincoln Restorations has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
A superb original music sheet cabinet, ideal accomplice to a piano.
Intended for sheet music but could also be used for filing, the drawer fronts fold down on a 'Stones Patent' mechanism to allow easy access to the contents.

The cabinet is complemented by moulded drawer fronts and solid brass polished plate dropper handles. This simple yet elegant cabinet also features panel sides, the top has a lovely deep drop moulding and the cabinet stands on Queen Anne style legs with a shaped frieze between. All of the joints are solid, the drawers are working smoothly and are very clean inside. The chest is complete with its original glazed French polished finish and has a lovely rich Mahogany colour.

This small chest of drawers is an ideal accomplice to your piano and would look lovely seated next to it with a period lamp on top and would enhance any period property. Please note this item is in excellent condition for its age but will have the odd blemish here and there. However, we feel that adds to the charm of the item with it being an antique.
