A Superb Piece of Orientalist Sculpture by Viennese Bronze Artist Franz Bergman. Executed in cold-painted bronze, it is Quite Small for what it depicts, yet the Outstanding level of detail and by the Exceptional Quality of its Execution more than Makes up For it.
 
It Depicts two Arabs and Their Camels in an Ancient Egyptian Ruined Landscape. A palm tree reaches over and gives the figures shade. The Figure in front rides Mounted With Rifle ready in Case of Attackers whilst the other walks slowly alongside his camel which is laden with equipment and supplies. It is Signed with a ''B'' inside an Urn Upon the Rump of Both Camels and with foundry and inventory marks on the Underside of the Rear one and on the Base.
