Description

A lovely sapphire and diamond three stone ring set with a natural and unheated sapphire and two natural old cut diamonds. The sapphire, secured by four split claws in a platinum collet, displays a rich, deep blue - the colour of which is emphasised by the whiteness of the old cut diamonds either side. On a slim and tapering platinum shank.

Accompanied by a sapphire report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating the sapphire shows no evidence of heat treatment.

Cut:? Cushion / oval cut sapphire, with old cut diamonds.

Colour:? The diamonds are H.

Clarity:? The sapphire is loupe clean. One diamond is SI1, one is SI2; both are clean to the naked eye.

Carat:? The sapphire is 0.54 carat. Each diamond is approximately 0.20 carat.

Circa:? 1930.

Size:? N (UK) or 6.5 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements:? The sapphire is 4.7 x 4.5mm. From the edge of one outer diamond to the other is 12.7mm. The ring is 5.15mm at the widest point and sits 4.75mm from the finger.
