French Metamorphic Library Steps Farmhouse Kitchen Chair

Description

This is a Pine Metamorphic chair, it can be used either as a normal chair or when the top is flipped over it transforms into a step ladder

This is a country piece from Brittany in France, it is about 100 years old and it is made in pine

Many Breton women are not very tall and like me they have trouble reaching things on high shelves

So this is a very popular item frequently to be found in Farmhouse Kitchens

I have shown the chair in both positions in the pictures and it is very easy to flip you can do it with one hand whether you are using it as a cha1r or as a step ladder this is a steady piece and very useful

The Metamorphic Chair can also be found in Libraries so perhaps you could use this in your office or Library, it is in used but good condition and all the woodworm has been treated.

When open as a ladder the steps are 36” high, the floor measurements are 14” wide and 25” deep
