This antique dog oil painting of a bulldog wearing a large studded collar is a magnificent oil on canvas dating from the 19th century. It has a wonderful folk art feel and the canvas is signed on the bottom left with the dog's name "Bully".

This well painted Victorian oil painting is marked to the rear of the canvas with Stewart & Co, Baker Street, Marylebone, is in nice original condition so displays very well and would make a good decorative piece.

Dimensions: Width: 43 cm (17"). Height: 54 cm (21").

Weight: 538 g.

Condition: Good original decorative antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. A couple of small holes, old repairs, crazing and small marks. Please see pictures.
