An late 18th century collectors cabinet with shaped gallery top above a pair of figured doors with original Bramah lock enclosing graduated fitted drawers with label slots; above a moulded splayed base and raised under tier.

In 1762 Mayhew and Ince published the “Universal System of Household Furniture”
