Unusual and very decorative mid 18th century George II walnut glazed bureau bookcase on stand in walnut with stringing and a fabulous interior.Being a bureau on stand, this piece has a much lighter feel with the shaped legs and serpentine frieze along with the walnut.The glazed bookcase 3 fully adjustable shelves plus the bottom surface offers a good amount of storage or space for display.The bureau interior has secret compartments, shaped drawers and a working lock and key.
