Description

An impressive and characterful sapphire and old cut diamond cluster ring, featuring a deep blue natural and unheated sapphire in the centre which is rubover set in 18k yellow gold. The centre stone 'floats' within a surround of twelve old mine cut diamonds in platinum. Fine, spear-shaped detailing in the shoulders leads to a triple-wire 18k yellow gold shank. French hallmarks.

Accompanied by a sapphire report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating the sapphire shows no evidence of heating.

Cut:? Round cut sapphire with old mine cut diamonds.

Colour:? The diamonds are H to I.

Clarity:? The sapphire is loupe clean. The diamonds range from VS2 to SI2.

Carat:? The sapphire is approximately 1.00 carat, with a total approximate 1.20 carat of diamonds.

Circa:? 1910.

Size:? Q (UK) or 8 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements:? The sapphire is approximately 6 x 7mm. The head of the ring is 13.8 x 14.2mm and sits 5.5mm from the finger.
