An Imposing Hand Painted Chinese Export Porcelain Wig or Hat Stand of traditional cylindrical vase outline, late Nineteenth Century, possibly Republican period.
Wherein the primary colour tones adorning the scenes painted on the body are of off-white, which is scattered throughout with accents in tones of red and pink. Slightly raised hand decoration with elaborate and profuse decoration of flowers and foliage and more. Traditional quatrefoil piercings are spaced throughout, with iron red underglaze character marks underneath at base.
Condition: Superb untouched condition with nice surface patination and no evidence of use.
