A lovely little mid 18th century tea caddy which boasts real charm and sophistication in its construction. A little earlier in date than most that you will see it was certainly well thought out with the inlaid and banded decoration adding a real decorative touch in combination with the well figured walnut veneers. The shaped plinth is a really unusual feature and adds another level of elegance and decorative feel to the tea caddy.
