This is a superb example of a Victorian, Wedgwood basalt jug. Made around the middle years of the 19thC it has excellent, all-over Chrysanthemum enamelled decoration - blue, pink, green, yellow and white - with some gilding, and encaustic edging. This piece is undamaged, and unrestored and is in excellent antique condition.
