Antique Royal Doulton Stoneware Book Spirit Hip Flask

A lovely Royal Doulton stoneware hip flask in the form of a leather bound book with gilt highlights entitled Pilgrim’s Progress by Bunyan (John Bunyan 1628-1688), with a hallmarked silver screw fit lid assayed in Chester dated 1890 made by Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings (Frank) Shepherd. This beautiful novelty flask is stamped on the underside with the Rd No. 73460, and is in excellent condition standing 5 inches tall.
