A beautiful Art Deco sapphire and old cut diamond cluster ring. The sapphire in the centre - certified as natural, unheated and originating from Ceylon (Sri Lanka) - displays a bright, lapis blue. The stone is rubover set in platinum and ''floats'' within a surround of twelve bright, white, and chunky old European cut diamonds in rubover platinum settings. Very pretty and intricate detailing in the gallery leads to a slim platinum shank.
Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and is Sri Lankan (Ceylon) in origin.
