A Jaques Boxwood & Ebony Staunton Chess Set, circa 1900-1925

both kings stamped JAQUES LONDON in red, a nice toffee patination to the boxwood side, the chessmen lined with green baize to the undersides, in a mahogany box with a sliding lid, the interior lined with green baize.

King: 9cm high (3.5 inches)

Pawn: 4.9cm high.

Box: 17.6cm x 9.6cm x 12.5cm.
