Description

A Howard & Sons Bridgewater armchair by Lenygon & Morant in original green H&S monogrammed ticking. Having the original sprung seat and back with down feather cushions, offering the ultimate comfort. The whole raised on a tapering front leg with the original gilt brass lacquered castors. Stamped "Howard Chairs, 48 Audley St, London.

The iconic firm of Howard & Sons Ltd was sold to Lenygon & Morant in 1935. They continued to produce Howard & Sons upholstery until 1959 when they ceased trading.
