In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Edwardian rings crafted around 1900 typically feature light-coloured gemstones like opals paired with diamonds, often set in yellow gold or platinum with carved scrollwork galleries.

Rings from this era were commonly crafted from 18ct yellow gold or platinum, utilising natural Australian opals cut into cabochons and rose-cut or old European-cut diamond accents.

Authentic pieces feature period hallmarks indicating metal purity, carved or pierced galleries underneath the settings, and hand-cut gemstone facets typical of turn-of-the-century craftsmanship.

A classic gemstone trilogy ring acts as a standalone statement piece on the hand, pairing easily with modern gold bands or simple everyday attire.

Opals are porous gemstones that should be cleaned gently using warm water and a soft cloth, avoiding immersion in water, harsh chemicals, ultrasonic cleaners, or extreme heat.
