Puckerings has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The centre has a vacant cartouche, which could be personalized by your silversmith should you wish. The handles have a very elegant beaded design.

The front blade is where the full hallmark for the highly collectible Chester assay office can be found and the date letter for the year 1913, 98 years old. The makers mark is also present for the silversmith's Herbert Edward Barker & Frank Ernest Barker.
Excellent quality and condition, measuring 9 1/4" long with the blades measuring 3 1/4" wide.
