A fine & large early 19th century English porcelain porter mug c.1830, perhaps by Samuel Alcock. Finely decorated with a panel to the front with a scene of finely painted flowers in a vase on top of a table alongside some fruits. The side of the mug is decorated with a monogram with the initials ‘WW’ with a gilded cartouche. The reverse of the mug decorated with a finely painted panel of roses in a wicker basket.

Condition: Star crack to the base.
