Stunning 19th century carved oak Hall bench .
The quality of the carving is top drawer ,very crisp and highly detailed The two pack panels depicting men drinking at the local inn ,with each arm having a carved lion to one arm and a carved leopard to the other , The base panels with detailed green man figures .The whole has a fantastic colour and patina .with very good proportions
The lift up seat provide very useful storage for shoes and boots .
The bench is in very good condition with no signs of woodworm .
The seat height is 45 cm
