The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a 17 jewel stem-winding movement, grade 405, which is working nicely. This is a good quality movement with a patent Reed regulator and screw-set jewels in gold settings. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 3,713,513 which dates it back to 1920.
The watch measures 47mm across at its widest. The case is the 14k gold filled Giant model from the Illinois Watch Case Company. The case is in lovely condition.

The watch glass is in lovely condition.
The signed dial has Breguet style hands (one is a period replacement), a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute track. There is a short faint hairline underneath number 8, hard to see with the naked eye.
The watch comes with a single chain, 26cm long including the clasps.
The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
