A very striking and decorative pair of Georgian sterling Silver Serving Spoons, this style of spoon was often referred to as a berry spoon. They are a of a very high quality with the detail to the decoration being superb and the gilded bowls adding a beautiful colour.
The decoration and gilding would have been added during the Victorian period as the fashion and styles changed.
Both are fully hallmarked Sterling Silver, London 1807
Makers mark of Peter & William Bateman to both.
They are in an excellent condition with no damage or repairs.
Some very light surface wear as expected for their age.
The box is in good order, it shuts securely and tightly.
