It has a natural un-dyed camel-hair field comprising a vertical ''tree-of-life'' with multiple leaves and 8-pointed stars and is in excellent overall pile condition with no repairs whatsoever. The rug retains its brocaded skirts each end and the goat-hair selvedges are original.
