A very impressive, decorative and heavy sterling silver Two Handled Cup made in the 17th century style. It has been made from just over a kilogram of silver, this thick gauge of silver used gives it a lovely deep shine and a solid feel to handle. The detail to the decoration is very fine and defined, it is a very high quality piece.
Fully hallmarked sterling silver, London 1919.
The makers mark is of the Pairpoint Brothers.
The lid is hallmarked for 1913 London with the same maker.
Excellent condition with no damage, repairs or inscriptions.
Some very light surface that is noticeable on a close inspection.
Sits steady and true.
The lid fits perfectly.
