Large Silver Mounted Sugar Castor. Birm 1916. Handsome cut crystal body, raised on a star cut foot. Pierced silver cover and silver screw fit collar. Clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1916 by the prolific silversmiths John Grinsell & Sons. Stands 8� inches (21.5cm) tall. There are signs of use to the pierced cover, see images.
