The antique oak coffer has a hinged lid that opens to reveal a spacious interior, with a preserved newspaper clipping to the inside of the lid dating �Monday the 29th of January. 1798�. The antique oak coffer has a three panel front with decorative carved detail. Raised on four stile feet.
