A superb Flight, Barr and Barr Worcester Porcelain vase c.1815 - 1820. The inverted bell shape vase, raised on a square pedestal base. Each side of the vase adorned with gilt snake handles, finely applied ''pearls'' around the rim and middle section, the main body finely painted scene from William Cowper''s poem, ''The Task'', framed by elaborately tooled and raised gilding all reserved on a beautifully executed Royal blue ground.
Title and script mark referring to Coventry St address in red
Condition: Re-gilding to just the top section of one handle-probably because of damage to that handle. Wear commensurate with age and use. A couple of tiny nicks to the left hand corner of the base. Small flake to the painted panel.
