This is an antique folding colonial tea table. An Anglo-Indian, teak occasional or side table in the campaign manner, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1870.

Enthusiastically pierced fretwork upon a striking octagonal folding form

Displaying a desirable aged patina in good order throughout

Quality teak stocks present deep chestnut hues

Lift-off top with folding legs for ease of stowage, in the campaign manner

Ornate leaf carvings accentuate all surfaces with skilful aplomb

The top hosting a foliate medallion with a surrounding chased vine pattern

Eight superb fretwork panels show carved leaf and berry motif

Further budding leaf patterns decorate the fascia across each leg
