A Flight, Barr & Barr period Worcester porcelain dessert basket c.1820 - 1830. Of lobed oval form with gilt gadrooned rim, loop handle with classical mask head at the centre. The border decorated with a bright apple green enamel ground , a shaped central reserve edged in gilt scrolls and finely painted in the centre with roses. Titled in red script ''Rose'' to the reverse along with the Flight, Barr & Barr Worcester factory mark in red referring to the Coventry Street address.
Condition: Excellent with just some very light wear. Tiny speck of wear to the gilt on one of the gadrooned tips. A couple of minute flea bite chips on the edge of the handle.
